What a life Auntie Marg lived! I never knew that she survived an earthquake in Alaska. To hear you recount all of the events and change she saw in her 97 years was incredible.
I loved visiting with both of your parents. I remember how kind and attentive your mom always was. She made you feel special. I used to see her on my way to and from the north each time I travelled. She could relate to some of my teaching stories, but I wish I would have talked to her more about her own experiences. She always listened to me talk! I also remember all of the artifacts she had in her home. I will miss her, and wish I could have been there in person today. đź’•

I enjoyed the service - it was nice to see all of the pictures, which brought back many memories. I remember Auntie Marg being incredibly kind and patient. I always enjoyed visiting with her.
I also enjoyed the story of her having you look up words in the dictionary to see how to properly spell them - I did the same with my kids! I remember all three of you, Marilyn, Maureen, and David, being independent - largely in part to the values instilled in you by your parents. I was the flower girl in your parents’ wedding and have fond memories of the time I spent with them over the years.

What a beautiful tribute. My tears were flowing and I was so moved by all the stories. Amazing lady, may she rest in peace and be forever in your hearts.

I will always remember Aunty Marg as a kind and humorous person. I have many fond memories from a trip to Eastern Canada that the Olson family let me tag along when I was much younger to the many Christmas gatherings in Sherwood Park
