I was sad to read of Grant's passing. We were good friends in high school but lost contact upon graduating. I am glad that Grant had lived such a full and meaningful life. He will be missed.
My deepest condolences on Grant's passing--he was one of the most kind-hearted, good-humored and intelligent people I've ever known. His light will burn brightly in the hearts and memories of many.
I first knew Grant as a boss and courageous leader, and got to know him as a dear friend. He was smart, funny, kind, generous, and incredibly thoughtful. He was truly one of a kind and we miss him so much.
My deepest sympathies to Richard, Edda, and the whole Sorochan family. Grant spoke often of his family, how close you all are, and about the elaborate family events that took place. Much love to you all.

Grant was always so genuine, thoughtful and generous. I will forever remember how welcomed he made me feel at the office and how he never failed to make work more pleasant with his amazing displays of goodies and willingness to listen with complete openness. He will forever be treasured.
I will always remember your smile and the joy that beams out of those smiles. Your genuineness and thoughtfulness especially when offering help to a complicated situation cannot be marched.
I will say I look forward to seeing you again my friend; each time I remember your smile and silly jokes.

Grant holds a special place for those of us who had the opportunity to get to know him and work with him. He was kind and generous of spirit, and always interested in others and focused on caring for the people around him. He will be missed. And what a talented gardener and baker! Grant and I went to school together for a while many years ago -- I can't even recall if it was elementary or junior high. I do remember even that the he was a gentle soul and a keen mind. I was so pleased to meet him again as adults on Team AMA. Sending love and light to all who will miss him.

Grants' strengths grew as the hurdles he had to overcome became larger. It was simply amazing.
