Dear Linda,
I am so sorry for your loss. Gord was an amazing person and I know this to be true because Roger loved and respected him. He would come home from his quadding weekends and share the fun you all had together. I know you have wonderful memories and the guys are up there sitting around the fire telling stories still❣️

I am sorry we weren’t able to make it to the memorial service on Friday but I did get to watch it online. What a beautiful tribute to a great guy. I am a cousin of Gord’s so knew him since he was a little guy. What I remember best about Gord was how he loved family reunions. He was often the one that got the ball rolling. Whether the organizer or just helper, he was in there with both feet and always with a big smile on his face. We were so fortunate to have Gord part of the Harper family. He will be missed but he has left us with many pleasant memories. My heart goes out to you, Linda and his siblings, on your loss but I know you will cherish the memories he left behind.

Gord has been a wonderful Uncle to Stephen and I. I'm glad we were able to see him and Linda at the wedding last year. He was always very supportive of us and I always enjoyed listening to his stories and telling him about our own entrepreneurial ventures. He always had a positive attitude and a big smile. I know we will meet again one day, Gordon. My heart goes out to all the Harpers, Linda, family, and friends. He was a wonderful brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend.

You were such an inspiration to me, your wit and humor will not be forgotten. When we first met back in 1996 I knew we would become good friends. As one of the heads of the great company I joined in 1998 all i can say it was my pleasure not only working for you but with you. I will miss you and will never forget your kindness.

Dear Linda,
I am truly saddened to hear of Gordon’s passing. My heart goes out to you and your family.

We met Gordon and Linda at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in 2019
where we became friends. A loving, kind and dedicated couple who always inspired us to find hope.
.
Gordon and Keith bravely shared similar journeys. They cheered each other on and shared a mutual admiration for each others strength as they navigated their rehabilitation.

We kept in touch mainly by phone, always looking forward to Gordon’s updates, coaching, lending a sympathetic ear and of course there would be plenty of shared laughter.

May you Rest In Peace My Friend.

Linda,
There are no words to say how much we will miss Gord. Looking back over 42 years of our friendship, there are so many treasured memories of our times spent together. He had many unique qualities, but indeed, what Rita said about Gord's infectious laugh, bringing tears to his eyes, stands out as one of the best. He was a master storyteller and never failed to entertain us with his tales and practical jokes.
Those were good times, but when times were tough over the last 4 years, we truly admired you both for the optimism, determination and generosity you showed under such difficult circumstances.
We are so grateful to have had such a true friend as Gord in our lives and will remember him always with the greatest love and respect.
Our condolences to all the family, and Linda, we will be always be there for you.

There are so so many wonderful memories that we have of hanging out with you and Gord - weekend trips to Calgary, camping in the backcountry, hiking the Chilkoot Trail, the trip to Thailand - to name a few. Gord's laughter (he'd laugh so hard sometimes, tears would be streaming down his face) and his sense of humor will be just a few of the things we'll miss the most. Sending our hugs and sympathies to you Linda and the Harper family. Rest in peace Gord, we'll miss you!

Linda and family. We are so so very sorry for your loss. This comes as such a shock. When I last spoke to Gordon he sounded so good, so positive and happy spirited. May he rest in peace. You both have been through so much over the last few years. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time
