It was a beautiful service, and a very fine funeral homily. The eulogy by Steve Gallagher was extraordinary. We too remember Halina's special smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Your Mom, Maria, and mine, understood each other with few words, both having earner their wisdom during very difficult times. May she rest in peace, and may you and your family continue to treasure her in your hearts.
Guy and I have so many memories and laughs with "Mrs. Gruzin", as we always called her.Stories she told me in our laundry days, are folklore to us now! Smart and kind and funny, is my memories of her. My mother-inlaw Louise Jacquart loved her as well. Condolences to all the family.
Mrs. Gruzin, you are such an important part of my life. It always amazes me, that you always knew who I was.. You have three wonderful wonderful children , that are now wonderful adults. As I open this link and see our beloved Mrs. Gruzin, our dear next door neighbour and friend, it brings me back to so many memories. I have heartfelt tears of remembrance. We sure did love your mother. She was the same age as my Mom and made the distance from my Mom in Nova Scotia a lot easier.
