To you, Martin Thabo Mokwena, trying to understand or make sense, the senselessness of what happened to you mtaka bhudhi wami would be futile to say the least. God ways are not our ways, so what might not make sense to us, God can account. For now, robala ka khotso Mokwena💔

Macebo, words alone cannot even begin to express the depth of my sorrow for our loss. Who are we to complain , though , for it was God's will , and it was done in His own timing❓ He had borrowed , but now He hath t taken . May his beautiful soul continue to rest in peace and rise in Glory . My heartfelt condolences to you and the family Love Always , WNP .

Martin 💔, I will miss you dearly even though you used to tease me every single time and of course I'd get mad ... for about 5 minutes and we'd laugh about it because you made it soo hard to stay angry at you, my little big brother. Forever in our hearts ♥
Rest easy 🙏

Martin was one of my sisters best friends and in a way he was like a brother in the Yellowknife community to me. He never neglected to say hi or to have a conversation just to catch up and see how I was doing. He really cared about my sister Lindsay and he always kept an eye out to see if I was around in town. A couple of weeks before his passing I had bumped into him on my way home from work, he ended up greeting me and we talked the whole way home. By the time I got home he took out his wallet to give me 10$ to go get coffee or something just because we hadn’t seen each other in a while. I’ll always remember that day and I’ll always remember him as a giving and kind person. May he Rest In Peace.

There is a time for everything,
1. A season for every activity under heaven:
2. A time to be born aand a time to die,
A time to plant and a time to uproot.
3. A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down a time to build.
4. A time to weep and a time to laugh,
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
5. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
A time to embrace and time to refrain from
embrace.
6. A time to search and a time to give up,
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7. A time to tear a time to mend,
A time to be silent and a time to speak.
8. A time to love and a time to hate,
A time for war and a time for peace.
