Heidi, I think I only met you once, but Patrick talked about you every day as we swapped stories about our adventures with our first born boys. He was an amazing person. I know that you must see Patrick in the boys every day. May his light continue to shine in all of you. I wish your hearts peace. Hang on to the love and joy that he brought you.

Heidi - my heart breaks for you, your sons and your entire family. Patrick truly was an exceptional man who touched the lives of all of who knew him, more than his humble nature would allow him to imagine. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to attend the service virtually from Winnipeg...know that I was there in spirit and will continue to keep you and your precious sons in my thoughts. I pray you find strength in the love of family and friends who care deeply and grieve with you.

Former WD Co-op wrote on August 4, 2022
When I started as a co-op student at WD, I had to write a little blurb introducing myself to the department. There, I shared that I was in the process of learning Russian. A few months later when another co-op had to write a blurb introducing themselves, Patrick forwarded the introduction to me noting that I could probably practice my Russian with them. I never expected that the Director General of HR would read my introduction, let alone be reminded of it. I will always remember his kindness and amazing energy. I feel so privileged to have crossed paths with him. Sending love and support from Vancouver to Patrick's family and friends.

"The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him" (Psalm 37:23).

In the short period of time I worked with Patrick, I noticed how he was always in service to Him and others; that surely delighted the LORD. In every conversation with Patrick, I felt seen. He had a way of making me and our colleagues feel safe and important. What a gift it was to know him this past year.

Wishing each and everyone of you, love, peace and acceptance during this difficult time. May His grace embrace the Faulkner family and friends from this day forward.

Fly away Patrick
May parts of your soul remain with your family
Feeling the vibration of you soul
So one day when the cloudy grief passes
Your love ones will radiate all the love you have nurtured them with during your passage on earth!
Amen
