Ruby was one of the greatest people to ever come into my life. She was a good friend to me for as long as I could remember. Even when we wouldn't speak for a while, I would call her up on the landline and we would hang out as if we were doing that the whole time we were away from each other.
She was always a role model for me. She was always confident with everything she did. The way she dressed, acted, and spoke was with ease and a uniqueness that made her the star of the room. She always made me laugh, and would cheer me up when I was having a rough day.
I think about her all the time, and I see her in everything I do. I've been travelling the world, and seeing things with her, and I know that she would be supporting me and with me to this day. She will always be in my heart, and I will always cherish the moments we had together. I love you Rubes! I miss playing Lego with you and the fun sleepovers we had together. Lots of love to the Walters and my best friend. 🫶🫶

I sincerely wish that we could’ve been there to celebrate Ruby in person but seeing all the wonderful support from friends and family sure was comforting. It was hard enough getting through the celebration from here, would have been a total mess in person :). Sincere thanks for how well organized and smooth the event went, we learned so much more about what an amazing person Ruby is to so many. Ruby, Colleen, Derek and Steven have been and will continue to be in our thoughts forever. Love you guys!

Our family sends love and admiration for all the wonderful things Ruby accomplished in her life. To see all the people speak about how she touched them, and sense the wonderful comfort she extended to all those in her circle, leaves us in awe of this wonderful person.
Colleen and Derek were my extended family when I lived in Edmonton for school, always extending their love and support whenever needed. To witness their family grow over the years and see how that wonderful sense of community extend to all those around them is the truest form of wealth.
In our lives, it’s not so much the places we go, the things we accumulate or the money in the bank. It really comes down to relationships and all the interactions we have over the years that enrich and inform us. Ruby has demonstrated that in her life, and I hope we can all learn that valuable lesson from the way she lived. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ruby is a much loved person in our home. Living across the street from her you would find her climbing everything, skate boarding by, saying hi to all that pass by from the roof of her shed and wearing outrageous outfits. Everything was performed with a wave and a smile 🙂

We are gifted with so many sweet and funny moments of Ruby. Most recently coming home to Ruby making outrageous dance videos with the girls while babysitting 🙂

We love you Ruby, you are a one of a kind soul. Thank you for you sweetheart.

Ruby’s last words to me were “I love you aunty Liana”, and those are the sweet, loving words I’ll remember Ruby by. I’ll cherish and think about every moment I spent with Ruby….Especially the happy and fun loving times! Though my heart has been broken, I pray that we’ll be reconnected one day in Heaven, Ameen. I’m wishing you guys, Colleen, Derek & Steven, healing and happy memories of your beautiful Ruby. Love you guys so much!
