I watched Phil's celebration of life just now. You all did a great job of helping those of us who didn't know Phil so well, to remember him as the guy who made life so much more fun when we were around him. No one could tell a story like Phil. I can still see his dog, Jack, riding Tickle Me Elmo all over the house and being way too embarrassed when he got caught.
That night in Nelson at the Royal with Phil on the drums was a classic. Phil was a star and anyone riding with Phil was a minor celebrity. The hard core local bikers at the end of the night telling us "You ride a hard cage" was the greatest compliment they could give any guy wimpy enough to have a windshield on his bike.
You ride a hard cage buddy. You will be missed.
